SAP S/4HANA

Jan Snel lays the foundation with SAP S/4HANA

Jan Snel implemented SAP S/4HANA in just 5 months to support further growth. Replacing outdated systems and using Emixa Prefab SAP software led to uniformity and user involvement. The company now has more control and insight into performance, making it ready for further growth and ambitious goals in the construction sector. The project was successful thanks to Jan Snel's 'can do' mentality and user involvement. Jan Snel Group is the market leader in modular construction solutions in the Benelux and offers permanent and semi-permanent housing in various sectors.

Business challenges

Jan Snel, a market leader in modular construction solutions in the Benelux, had ambitious growth targets. They wanted to achieve an annual turnover of €200 million and become the market leader in Western Europe. However, outdated IT systems, such as an ERP environment with dispersed inventory information, made their expansion plans difficult. That is why they partnered with Emixa to replace their outdated ERP system with Prefab SAP S/4HANA.

The rapid implementation of SAP S/4HANA had some success factors. Firstly, the focus on uniformity and minimising customisation laid the foundation for a streamlined implementation. Secondly, users were actively involved in the project, resulting in high user acceptance. Finally, tight planning ensured that everyone was motivated to get started. This 'can do' mentality fitted well with Jan Snel's culture.

Jan Snel had the challenge of better internal operations, more control and improved insight into performance. With this, they wanted to make the operations ready for further growth and achieve their ambitious goals.
